Holy cow its been over a year!!!

Lots of things, big things went down. It turned out I needed a Transplant, well Jay gave me his..yup 5/15/07 I got a new kidney. So Lexi and I share Daddy's DNA. Well sort of. The kidney is working perfect, The creats have been .7-1 depending on my prograf levels. I have consumed 90oz of fluids today. 32oz of h20 50oz of iced tea and 8oz of soda well diet tea and diet pepsi. I may habe another 16 oz of tea. So the grand total is 106 oz thats 3litters and what Dr. Bloom said to drink. I guess I will be peeing all night. The more I pee the better, right? I even before transplant peed a lot. Now my pee is removing toxins. Tomorrow is labs so I want to be supper hydrated. My goal which might be a bit unrealistic is a creat of .7-.8. The nurse said 1.0 is realistic, but I am small, skinny with no muscles, I think .6 is what it should be if I had 2 kidneys. Finally my diabetes is nearly gone. I dont even take my prandin much, and after some sweets it was 144 which is normal, woot woot. I am almost on the lowest dosage of steroids, so it will be even better.
Most people gain weight after a kidney transplant, I am down 4-5# I was 119.5-120.5 now i am 115.5-116. I would like to be 113# no thinner. I am 5'3 so 113 will be perfect,but for now my goal is to maintain 116 until I can work out, only 2 weeks to go for that.
So I am gonna go back to work in a few weeks, yay I love my job. The babies are so cute and I love all kids birth to teens. I work with some cool and nice staff. I cant wait to tell them about my transplant. The money will be a plus, as we are saving for 2 things, a house and a sibling for Lexi girl!!! I think we will TTC next summer, late summer like aug/sept. So I will be starting school, again, pregnant and working. I will work 16 hours and have clinicals 10 hours..not bad..Lexi will go to pre-school. 3 mornings a week. Well thats 15 months away...
I think thats it for now..Time to refile my cup..I may post more later or not
